Hello from the coffee shop
Well here I am blogging from a new nearby internet cafe. I'm glad it opened since there used to actually be no cafes with Wi-Fi nearby where I live. Its quite a nice little cafe too, and the coffee is good. Its a bit on the pricey side, only slightly though.
I've been taking more photos recently, more specifically macro photography as seen from my last couple of posts. Perhaps I'll buy a macro lens, though they are a bit past my budget (600$ for 50mm, 800$ for 100mm) but the stock 18-55mm lens is really a bad lens.
I have a very large collection of books, actually the count is somewhere between 150 and 200, (I used to be obsessed) I'm planning to sell them on eBay sometime soon, a few are used, most are new, I'm just amazed at how large that the collection got, I had thought that I only had like 50-60. I also have a Lexar CF Card reader, Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000, and several other miscellaneous books.
I just bought an all-in-one card reader/USB hub thing from the store, since I have several cameras all taking entirely different memory cards, and since I just hate the included photo software, at least with non-canon cameras, the canon software is actually pretty good, when it comes to free beginners photo software that is.
Winter is coming pretty soon, well maybe not that soon, but its closer than it was a month ago, I am more of a winter person than a summer person, not that I cant stand summer, I just enjoy the snow etc. This summer seems to have gone by so fast, I find it hard to believe that its already near the end of august, some of the summer was very dull, some of it was enjoyable and some of it was just hectic.
I really need to buy an external hard drive for this computer, 100GB's just isn't cutting it! I'll probably get something like a 500GB, for all my photos, (shot in RAW and at 8MPX) and my huge music collection, most of which is on DVD's.
By the way, I also just got a new haircut, its been like 3 months since my last one. I like this new style.
Well anyway, goodbye, I'll blog again soon.
PS: gahh! I hate this keyboard, the keys are too small and flat, I keep on hitting the wrong keys. :(
