Sorry. No photo's right now. I haven't been taking any photos lately. To be honest Im not much of a  fan of winter photography. And its been too cold lately to go out with a camera. I dont mind the snow. Its the cold I dont like. And January/February tend to be the coldest months over here.

I downloaded an Antivirus for my laptop. It's avast! Antivirus. Its free. Doesn't take much resources and works really well at catching virus's. I actually wasn't using one before this. Mainly because I didn't have internet.

I am not having any problems with my new internet connection. Its working flawlessly. As is the router. I really like the speed as well. It actually runs as well as the company said it does.

I am now using Windowblinds again. After my last debacle with the program I've been somewhat hesitant to use it. However I am now using it full-time on my notebook. The skin Im using is called "Moonflower" Its a really lovely Windows Vista based skin made my Kaye Irene. With Transparencies, and stuff. 

My money is running very low. Ive spent all of it on my camera equipment and other items. I'd really like to get a small under-the-table job somewhere. Just to make a bit of cosistent money.

I've been seeing Vista in all the big computer stores. I'm not going to try to get it for quite a while though as its just been released so they'll probably be some bugs. And also my laptop isn't really Vista capable. I dont care much for it actually, I like Mac OS X, my next laptop will definintely be a mac, and I'll probably be able to run it on one of the new macbooks anyway.

School is going well. I'm pretty tired these days though, so Im often drifting off while I'm working, not paying full attention etc.

I've been downloading lots of music off limewire. I just got Pro. Its really a lot speedier than the basic version. Im also using BitComet, as my torrent client.

FInally im back!!!

And this time its not just an internet cafe. I am currently using my very own dsl internet connection!!!!

My photography tutor is going to new york today. So I wont be able to see her till the 20th.

I am trying out Adobe Photoshop CS3. It looks nice so far. Nice new UI updates. I just installed it today so i have yet to use any of the new features it offers...

I'll be posting more photo's tonight. Of the city, as requested by thoth in the last posts comments. Once I convert the RAW photo's into JPEG's that is.

I went to the biodome on tuesday. It was really fun. I took a few photos. I didn't end up with anything spectacular, but some were interesting.

I've gotten more interested in lighting and portrait photography. I've been taking more portraits recently.

These photos are macro shot that I took at my photography tutors apartment of oranges and her Clivia (a flower that only flowers on christmas. And is indiginous to south africa.)

All of these are taken with my Canon Rebel XT. And with 18-55mm III lens

Its my birthday! I am now 13 years old...

I have gotten a canon 75-300mm telephoto lens for my canon rebel xt... It was 180$. Second hand. So no tax.

I haven't been taking many photos lately because the weather over here is pretty cold...

I've bought a router. All i need now is an internet connection. Bell is taking longer than expected. Apparently because we're using rogers. They have to do some extra work befor ethey can set up the service or something.

I've gotten a manfrotto tripod for my camera as well. My mother bought it for me as a birthday gift...

Im using wi-fi at an internet cafe right now... Its nice because there are 2 net cafes nearby where i live...
