Went over to Laser-Quest today!

Well I went over to laser-Quest today. It waws really fun. A little different from the last time I went actually. But the principle was the same. Some of the differences included: Different maze design, no base, no need to "recharge", different read-outs and gun & vest design. But I liked it. I played two solo and one team game. I was doing well in the third game. I had named myself "Jacob" in the first two rounds, and "Neo" in the last. I also visited the laser-quest website @ http://www.laserquest.com Quite nice site design actually!

I will be going back to laser-quest again next weekend with a friend of mine. It will be just me and him. Which will make it somewhat more difficult to even find him in the maze! Today there were abotu 25 people. The first two games I used Gun "8" and the last game I used Gun "9". I wasn't doing all that well though-I only got 188 points. But it was fun anyways. Far better than just sitting around at the base waiting for an enemy to attack!

I have been using my iPod more. Its really fun. I love the UI. Its really sleek and streamlined, and I find that the controls are easy, although at the beginning I was having some difficulty figuring out how to scroll down the menu items, which I figured out.

Im going skating on saturday. I dont have my own pair of skates ( at least not any that fit me, now) I only went skating once before, and it was fun.

I had actually only gone to laser-quest once before. Its nice that you only pay 18$ CAD to go in yourself.

I like the way that they design the maze, I found the mirrors slightly confusing though as at first I had thought that they were windows and ended up firing away at a mirror. The maze was very dark and claustrophobic actually, with weird lights and smoke.

A person whom I know, "Allan" is selling his computer for about 500$ CAD. It has a Pentium 4, a DVD-RW, 2 80 GB HDD's in Raid 0 array, and a 128 MB video card GeForce 5500. All in all fairly good for the price. I will check it out tommorrow, to get some more detailed specs. The reason he is selling it actually is because he intends to buy a Compaq Presario laptop to replace it. I actually don't have all that much experience with Compaq notebooks. But by the sound of it he was very impressed by them, so maybe I will check them out.

Its 9:30 PM right now. I'll be having a bath soon actually and then reading a bit before going to bed. The latest I have ever gone to bed actually is around 4:00 AM. Usually I go to bed around 2:00 PM. Unless, like tonight Im tired out from a laser-quest party!

I may use an Intel Core 2 Duo In my next desktop actually, to try it out. Quite a switch for me, being the AMD fan that I am, but from the sound of it they are very good, so I'll give 'em a shot.

It's been raining so much recently actually. Actually for some reason this reminded me of Nicholas from ottawa, for some reason he hasn't been on MSN at all recently. Maybe he's on vacation or something though-- it is summer.

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
Motherboard compatible with Core 2 Duo
4 GB OCZ Platinum PC2-6400 RAM
Plextor 760A DVD-RW
2 150 GB Raptors in Raid 0 Config
Nvidia GeForce 7900GTX with 512 MB RAM
Watercooled case
600w PSU

Yes that is the updated specs of my next PC. I am going to do some research to make sure that its all compatible.

What PSU Manufacturers would you recommend? (Please post your recommendations in a comment) I want the best quality on my next PC.

I just wish that intel would drop there prices more. AMD has just really dropped there's.

Anyway Bye for now...

PS: My apologies for not posting any pictures of the downtown area, when I was over there when I went to laser-quest. I will take them this coming weekend hopefully.
